Yes, Virginia, it's true. The I-BEAM is entering it's final few days and is slated to close on New Years Eve. It's been a terrific run and we thank you for your patronrage over the years. I-Beam started coming to life in late 1997 and opened it's doors on March 11, 1998. Many of you reading this now were there then and have added greatly to the flavor and color of the bar over these years. We tried closing a few years ago but reopened on weekends only these past two years.
But this time it's certain. There is a new tenant coming into the facility and we have a on-line auction running currently at www.k-bid.com that closes on January 4th at 4:00 p.m. Check it out and perhaps you can bid on your favorite booth, barstool or bathroom stall. Everything is selling as we prepare the building for the next business.
You have no idea how much we appreciated you and your support over the years. While we won't miss the late nights, we'll miss you.

Pick up a few friends, drive together, have a designated driver. The I-BEAM staff and management wants everyone to have a fun, but safe time. Last night is New Years Eve, 2011.
